Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts for the Cusp desktop app and the cusp terminal UI.

Desktop app

On macOS these live in the menu bar. Windows and Linux have no menu bar, so the app binds the same shortcuts with Ctrl in place of ⌘.

Window

ActionShortcut
Show or hide Cusp from anywhere⌘⇧Space on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+Space elsewhere

The show-or-hide shortcut is global: it works while another app is focused. It can be changed or turned off.

On macOS the standard window commands are handled natively:

ActionmacOS
Close window⌘W
Minimize⌘M
Full screen⌃⌘F
Actual size⌘0
Zoom in⌘=
Zoom out⌘−
Hide Cusp⌘H
Quit⌘Q

Undo, redo, cut, copy, paste and select all use the usual platform shortcuts everywhere.

On macOS, closing the window hides Cusp and the Dock icon brings it back. ⌘Q quits, which also stops the daemon. On Windows and Linux, closing the window quits.

Tray

The tray icon menu offers Show, New Session and Quit.
